Certificates

You will find the below mentioned certificates on our products.

GOTS – Global Organic Textile Standard is the worldwide leading  textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and  social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire  textile supply chain.

Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibres can  become GOTS certified. All chemical inputs such as dyestuffs and  auxiliaries used must meet certain environmental and toxicological  criteria. The choice of accessories is limited in accordance with  ecological aspects as well. A functional waste water treatment plant is  mandatory for any wet-processing unit involved and all processors must  comply with social criteria. The key criteria of GOTS, its quality  assurance system and the principles of the review and revision procedure  are summarised in this section.

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful  substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety.  Find out here what STANDARD 100 means and why it is worth checking for  this label when buying textiles.

If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain  that every component of this article, i.e. every thread, button and  other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the  article therefore is harmless in human ecological terms. The test is  conducted by independent OEKO-TEX® partner institutes on the basis  of our extensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalog.  In the test they take into account numerous regulated and non-regulated  substances, which may be harmful to human health. In many cases the  limit values for the STANDARD 100 go beyond national and international  requirements. The criteria catalog is updated at least once a year and  expanded with new scientific knowledge or statutory requirements. It is  not easy for manufacturers and customers to keep an overview of the  legal situation concerning harmful substances every day. Our experts  from the OEKO-TEX® institutes do this for you.

Vinter & Bloom strive to reduce as much plastic as possible from our packaging. We've decided to use biodegradable plastic bags, certified OK Compost. These bags are certified and compost only in industrial composting facilities.

All products labeled OK Compost are certified according to EN13432: 2000 and meet the requirements of the EU Packaging Directive (94/62 / EEC).

The plastic bags are sorted as food waste or household waste.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is the largest animal rights organization in the world. PETA opposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview, and focuses its attention on the four  areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely  for the longest periods of time: in laboratories, in the food industry,  in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry.
